The few days I had in Denver were hectic and fun. It was all about Sue and Tim’s wedding. Shaleah joined me for some of the time and I got to show her around Denver a little. Each time I visit I feel a little more at home.
Again, a beautiful summer day, no trace of the dreaded storms that have haunted the region for the last few weeks. Another great day of gorgeous scenery and beautiful weather. For the third day the storm showers waited until I got to the hotel.
Route 50 from Fallon to Ely is officially the loneliest highway in America. It is indeed sparsely populated. It does have some beautiful scenery with a surprisingly well kept road running through it.
